How It Works
The Auction Pre-Order forms are faxed/emailed out prior to the Auction days. These forms need be back to us the night before the auctions. The Auctions are on Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays at 5.30am.
Our Pre-order form does not have prices, unless we have pre-organised a price with a grower on selected lines. We are buying on your behalf at the going auction price. We only have pre-priced items on lines where it is more cost effective and/or supply is guaranteed.
Our commission is included in our price to you, there are no additional costs. We also offer Market Specials which we send out straight after the Auctions at approx 9am.
These are lines of quality fresh product that we have spec bought off the auction floor at excellent prices. These are hot items and sell out fast. They need to be faxed back no later than 10am or better still - straight after you have received them to avoid missing out.
Many of our customers utilise these specials for door sales and to top up their pre-auction orders. Even customers that come to the markets to buy their own product use this service, as it means they don’t have to buy a whole bucket of something. Often the lines on the market are too large for one shop, so if you only want a few bunches or selected colours, this is an invaluable service. All you need do is circle the quantities you want and fax it back!
If you don’t have a fax machine, you can email or phone in your order the day before each auction. Any issues with quality can be quickly corrected through the auction system. We simply take it back and get you a credit. But we do need to address any issues within 24 hours - this is in line with UFG's auction policy.
DELIVERY
We co-ordinate with several local couriers for our Auckland regional customers. This is usually provided on a freight forward basis. Please contact us for more information.
For out of area deliveries, we use Courier Post couriers. Targeted delivery is same day for customers between Whangarei and Hamilton where possible. All other North Island and South Island locations are targeted overnight delivery. These freight charges are billed to your account. Please contact us for more information.
